Third-Party Services

MPSF uses a variety of third-party platforms and service providers to process donations, administer events and fundraising activities, manage donor information, process employer matching gifts, communicate with supporters, and operate our website.

Depending on the transaction or service, these providers may include GiveSmart (including GiveSmart Events, Fundraise, and CRM), Venmo, PayPal, Benevity, Blackbaud/NPO YourCause, CyberGrants, employer-sponsored matching-gift platforms, Google Analytics, Constant Contact, and other service providers.

The information shared with these providers depends on the service being used. For example, a donation platform may receive information necessary to process a gift, while a matching-gift provider may receive information necessary to verify an employee's eligibility and process an employer match.

These providers may have their own privacy policies governing information they collect or process. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of third-party services when using their platforms.

Email Communications

MPSF uses Constant Contact to send newsletters, updates, event information, and other communications. When you subscribe to or receive communications from MPSF, your email address and other contact information may be processed through Constant Contact on our behalf. Constant Contact describes itself as a service provider that processes customer contact information on behalf of organizations using its services.

You may unsubscribe from non-transactional email communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us directly.

You may still receive administrative or transactional communications, such as donation receipts, event confirmations, or other messages necessary to complete a transaction or respond to a request.

Donations and Donor Information

MPSF maintains records necessary to acknowledge and administer donations, maintain appropriate financial and donor records, provide receipts, communicate with donors, and support Foundation operations.

Donation information may be processed through different third-party platforms depending on the type of gift or transaction, including online donations, event-related giving, employer matching gifts, donor-advised fund distributions, and other forms of charitable support.

MPSF does not sell, rent, or trade donor names or personal information to other organizations for their marketing purposes.

Employer Matching Gifts

When you participate in an employer matching-gift program, information about your donation may be shared with or processed by the employer's matching-gift provider or administrator. These providers may include Benevity, Blackbaud/NPO YourCause, CyberGrants, or other employer-sponsored platforms.

The information required may vary depending on the employer and matching-gift program.

Information Sharing

MPSF may share personal information with trusted service providers when necessary to operate the Foundation and provide services to you. These providers may assist with:

  • Donation and payment processing

  • Event registration and fundraising

  • Donor and constituent relationship management

  • Employer matching gifts

  • Email and communications

  • Website analytics

  • Website hosting and technology

  • Other administrative or operational functions

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of MPSF, our community, or others.

We do not sell or rent personal information to outside organizations for their marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy

The MPSF website is intended for parents, families, educators, community members, donors, volunteers, and others interested in the Foundation and its work.

MPSF does not knowingly use its website to collect personal information directly from children for purposes unrelated to Foundation programs or activities. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us through our website without appropriate authorization, please contact us so we can review and address the situation.

Our website may contain links to websites operated by other organizations, schools, businesses, payment providers, fundraising platforms, or other third parties.

These websites and services have their own privacy policies and practices. MPSF is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites or services.
