40 Years of Impact
The Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation (MPSF) is an independent nonprofit lead by 19 board members, dedicated to enriching the student experience in Minnetonka Public Schools. MPSF operates entirely through community donations, supporting innovative ideas, hands-on learning, and experiences that go beyond traditional school funding.
Since 1986, educators, families, alumni, businesses, and community members have come together in support of MPSF to make more opportunities possible for students. Together, we help educators bring new ideas to life and give students more opportunities to explore their interests, discover their strengths, and prepare for the future.

Through Teacher Grants, support for district initiatives, and investments in capital projects, we help expand learning beyond traditional school funding. From robotics and the arts to environmental learning and career exploration, our support helps educators inspire curiosity, nurture potential, and expand opportunities for students.

Community support turns potential into achievement. One-time gifts, monthly donations, employer matching, planned gifts, or corporate partnerships provide students with the tools they need to succeed in school, work, and life.

Grants in Action
Community donations help the Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation (MPSF) turn educators’ ideas into engaging learning experiences. Through our Teacher Grant Program, we support innovative projects across Minnetonka Public Schools, from hands-on STEM and literacy initiatives to arts experiences and career exploration.
These grants give educators the resources to bring new ideas into the classroom and offer students experiences that go beyond traditional school funding.
In 2025, the Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation provided a $100,000 grant to purchase 35,292 decodable readers for Kindergarten through second grade English and Spanish Immersion classrooms, supporting early literacy instruction across all elementary schools.
